THE UAWA DOMAIN
DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS
(Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day
The use for general domain purposes of a small trust sum held by the Uawa Domain Board is authorised in the Lands Washing-Up Bill. In 1921, £26 was raised by public subscription in Toluga Bay for the formation of a public tennis court on the Uawa Domain, but a tennis club was formed in Toluga Bay and has acquired courts on a property outside the domain boundaries, and additional facilities for the game are not required in the township. No objections have been raised to the proposed diversion in this case of the funds for general improvements to the domain
