TOLAGA BAY NEWS
(Ilorald Correspondent.) The friends of Mr. W. Burns, a well known identity of Tolaga Bay, will regret to learn that ho suffered a stroke on Tuesday morning. ' The members of the Tolaga Tay Homing Pigeon Club held their sixth race of the season from Napier, 10/ miles. Only one bird from each loft competed, liberated at intervals of lo minutes. Results: E. Spences 8.G.C., 1 • c. E Scott’s 8.C.C., 2; J. Lincoln s R.G., 3;' E. Kelly’s ft.IL, 4; J. Thornton’s R.H., 5. Next week-end the club will fly its third Wellington race.
