COALITION GOVERNMENT MR. ATMORE’S VIEWS When speaking in Palmerston North on the present economic situation, Mr. H. Atmore, M.P., levelled some criticism at recent legislation passed in this respect. Mr. Atmore advocated the establishment of a system of State credit as a means of overcoming the present scourges of unemployment, over-produc-tion, and under-consumption. Mr. Atmore strongly criticised the policy of the Coalition Government, and said ho predicted that tho Government despite any measures that it passed to extend the term of its life, would not last out the term.
