Tlie, first of the Epsom contingent for the Waikato Trotting meeting. La Triumph, under the charge of J. Shaw, and Autumn Lu, under the care of G. Stubbs, leave for Clamlelands by motor transport to-morrow. The maiden trotters are going early in order to finish, their preparations on the grass track. Both are well forward, and on recent efforts, La Triumph looks to have the better prospects, although neither is reliable at the barrier.

Silver Scorn lias had an easy time since the New Zealand Cup meeting.
