PRISONERS ESCAPE
IN POSSESSION OF VAN (Por Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. Two prisoners escaped from the Waikeria prison camp at about 6 o’clock on Saturday afternoon. They are Arthur Albert Clayton, 20, and Gralnim Wilfred Morton. 21.
They are believed to be in possession of a motor van, which was stolen Iron) the Cambridge Electric Power Board at Leamington between 1 o’clock and 4 o’clock yesterday morning.
