HUGE STEEL INGOT
WEIGHS 175 TONS (British Oflicial Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 26 Tho world’s largest steel ingot, which weighs 175 tons, has been made by the English Steel Corporation at Vickers works, Sheffield, in connection with forged boiler drums to be installed at the new power station at Fulham, London. . The huge ingot is required in connection with the largest of these drums, which will he approximately 40/t. -ong and sft. Sin. in diameter outside.
