TO-NIGHT ’S FEATURES IYA.—Mr. Edward Cortis will speak on “Principles of Transport Trailing.” Continuing “The Story of British Sports and Pastimes” .series, Mr G. A. Thomas will give a lecture on “Inns and Taverns.” If there is no wrestling at the Town Hall a programme of recordings will be broadcast.
2YA.—A representative of tins Institute of Opticians will speak on “Your Eyesight." The studio concert will feature selections by the Concert Orchestra, vocal solos .by Christina Ormiston (soprano) and Trevor Thomas (bassbaritone). choral items by John Goss and the Male Quartet, and a lecture by Catherine 8. Fordo- on “Keats: My Favorite Foot." Dance music will begin at 10 p.m. 3YA. —A lecture on “New Writers: The. Progress, of Poetry'’ will be given by Mr. C. 11. Siraubel. A Scottish programme will be broadcast in commemoration of Ft. Andrew’s Day. 4YA. —“Varnish Paint and Enamel Manufacture’' will he the subject of a lecture by Air. J. 11. Turner. "Recordings, 'a. talk by Mr. W. (1. McClymont on “Japan’s Future Outlook,’’ and dance music will be broadcast.
