NEW MOTOR SHIP
DEPARTURE FROM BELFAST The new motor ship Wanganella (formerly the Aehlmota), recently purchased by the Huddart-Parker Company for use in tho intercolonial service, is to leave' Belfast on Tuesday next for Sydney, where she is due on January 1, according to advice received by cable in Australia. According to the same message the Wanganella will enter the service immediately, but no advice to that effoct has* yet been received by the Wellington office of the company. It is considered probable, however, that the new ship, the first motor ship to be used exclusively in tho intercolonial mail service, will leave Sydney on January 13 for Wellington. It was also reported that the builders of the ship, Messrs. Harland and Wolff, had asked the Prince of Wales to inspect the ship while on a visit to Bellast. i
