REDUCTION OF TAXATION AID FOR PRODUCERS (Received Nov. 24, 11 a.m.) CANBERRA, Nov. 24. The Prime Minister, Air J. A. Lyons, introduced the Financial Relief Bill in the House of Representatives. It provides £1,700,900 in taxation relief, £2,000,000 aid for wheat growers, £250,000 for other farmers, and £400,000 in pension relief. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr ,T. H. Scullin, said his party would support the proposals to remove anomalies from the Pensions Act, but would oppose a reduction in land and income tax.
