CANADIAN BANK NOTES (Received Nov. 24, noon) OTTAWA, Nov. 23. Canada has no intention of abandoning gold coverage for its paper money, Mr. R. B. Bennett annouced m the House. . Sinco 1929, Canada technically has not been on the gold standard, but she covers with gold her notes. Canada has a statutory 25 per cent, coverage for the first. £10,000,OCX) in Dominion notes and dollar for dollar above that. ibis coverage will lie maintained.
