A GREAT ARCHITECT
SIR C. WREN REMEMBERED (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Oct. 21. 'fbe centenary celebrations of Sir Christopher Wren’s birth are continuing in various forms. Yesterday his grave in the crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral was covered with wreaths from architects in all parts of the Empire, various European countries, and the United States. They were laid mi the tomb by the foremost representatives of Sir Christopher Wren’s profession.
The debt owed by London to the builder of so many of its churches was acknowledged by the presence in state of the Lord M ayor of London at a special service.
