CROWS AMONG GOLFERS
MELBOURNE, June 21. In a gol| match at Mildura, between RedcMs and Mcrbip, crows appeared in great numbers and anrioyejl the competitors by picking up the golf balls. So that the two leading players in a close match should not be put off their game by the crows, one man went ahead with a gun, and, standing on the green to which the competitors were about to drive, fired a shot. He repeated these tactics at the next green, and the crows did not venture on to the fairway again.
