WEEKLY MEETING The weekly meeting of the Poverty Bay Professional Athletic and Cycling Chib was held last night. Mr. E. Sharpies was in the chair and there were also present Messrs. C. L. Davy, J. Watts, E: Hamilton, H. Millar, K. Humphrey, J. Sutton, E. Morrow, G. Murland, B. Hale, R. Grit ton, C. King, (t. Hewson and G. Gruluiiii, lion secretary. It was decided to hold cycle races fortnightly in future. It was the opinion ol the majority of the riders that, owing tithe frequency of tho races there was a tendency for the entrants to go stale before the season had been far advanced. It was resolved to hold harrier races for both ladies and men on Thursday. Each race will be run under sealed handicap, Nominations will he received by Mr. J. Watts up until 5 p.m. to-morrow.
