At a recent stock sale at Balelutha & pen of old broken-mouthed ewes sold at the very low price of Bd. each. This was the lowest price at which ewes have been sold in the yards this season.
The apple crop in Tasmania: this year has boon particularly heavy. Between 2,000,000 and 2,100,000 cases were exported by the first. 29 ot 44 steamers listed for the season. Ot the number 290,000 cases were shipped from Northern Tasmania. The remainder were loaded at Hobart and Port Huon, in the south.
