A remarkable escape from grave injury was experienced by the driver of a motor car which crashed through the railing of the approa ch to the King’s drive overhead bridj'e, Auckland, on Thursday evening and fell 20ft.-to the railway lines beneath. The machine was wrecked, but the only occupant, Mr. Ernest George Pott* r, 43, escaped with concussion and abrs.sipns.
