FINAL WAIROA MEETINGS MR. COLEMAN WELL HEARD The Labor candidate for the Gisborne seat chose vVairoa as the venue tor ins unui appeal to tiie electors, audressing a mg meeting there last night. -Ur. Coleman accompanied the Leader <>t the JLauor Baity, Air. il. E. Holland, io Wairoa, where air. Holland addressed a meeting at 1u.60 o’clock m the morning. Hie meeting was held in tho rsorougn Council Chambers, and the attendance was estimated at over 200, many of the public following Alt'. Holland s address through the windows, the Mayor, Mr. 11. h. Barker, occupied the chair. la the evening Air. Coleman addressed his hinil meeting in Osier's Hall, where the Mayor again presided. The general opinion was that it was the largest meeting held in Wairoa in con uectioii with uio present campaign, file mill being inadequate to accommodate the crowd.
Mr. Coleman, who spok& on the lines of his previous addresses, was given a- very attentive hearing, and at the conclusion a vote of thanks and full confidence in Mr. Coleman as representative for the electorate was carried by acclamation.
At the conclusion of his address in the morning Air. Holland left Wuiroa for Hastings, where he delivered his final address last night.
