THE AUCKLAND MEETING NGINGONGINGO DISQUALIFIED DEPRIVED -OP BIG RACE (For Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. 'The Auckland Trotting Club’s spring meeting concluded to-day. The weather was cold and for the first few races was showery. The attendance was good and the track in fair condition. The totalisator put through £23,823 10s compared with £29,908 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £43,043 10s, compared with £56,563 10s last year. Greenlane Handicap.—2 Carl Mack (Smith) 1, 4 Windchat (August) 2, 3 Malco Girl (Dye) 3. Also started: 12 Reply, 11 Tiwha, 10 Gold Realm, 1 Worthy Queen, 9 Colonel Thorpe, 7 Hue Coronado, 5 Black Magic, 6 Effigy, 8 Parrish Belle. Won by two lengths, and three-quarters of a length. Time, 3.37 1-5. Gold Realm went to the front early, and was first into the straight, followed by Windchat and Carl Mack. Realm appeared to have the race in hand, but broke about 100 yards from the post, Carl Mack going on to win easily. Worthy Queen broke at the start. Gold Realm was fourth.

Newmarket Handicap.—3 CJhenaway (Thomas) 1, 6 Margaret Wallace (Lee) 2, 10 Modern Light (Phipps) 3. Also started: 8 Oleao, 11 Etawah, 12 Lady Coronado, 14 Lady Triumph, 13 Rally Thorpe, 7 Myrtlene, 6 Oliver Thorpe, 1 Rey Do Quest, 4 Great Fame, 5 Gumdigger, 2 Kewpie’s Triumph. Won by lengths, and a head. Time, 3.31. Ohenaway was soon in front and after the first lap showed the way to Margaret Wallace, Cleao, Modern Light, and Myrtlene, leading into the straight from Margaret Wallace, Myrtlene and Modern Light. Ohenaway held on to win comfortably. Myrtlene was fourth. Labor Day Handicap.—l Auto Machine (Brown) 1, 4 Hal Chimes (August) 2, 3 'Gold Treasure (Julian) 3. Also started : 2 Ngingongingo, 5 Florent, 6 Reremai. Won by a head, and a neck. Time, 4.38. Ngingongingo finished first, a head in front of Auto Machine. The judicial committee met and disqualified Ngingongingo and the driver, E. Bryce, for the race and for a period of 12 months, the finding being that Ngingongingo, after leading throughout, slowed down the field, thus accounting for the slow time, and it was decided that the running of the horse was both inconsistent and unsatisfactory compared with his running in the Jellicoe Handicap on Saturday. Ngingongino led early from Hal Chimes, Auto Machine, on the outside, and Gold Treasure. The second time round Auto Machine was up to second place. The order at the turn was Ngingongingo, Auto Machine, Hal Chimes, and Gold Treasure. In a great finish Ngingongingo got home by a head. Junction Handicap.— 3 Dan Direct (Ncwdick) 1, 6 Gaza (Mahoney) 2, 1 Harvest Boy (Carmichael) 3. Also started: 11 Glandore, 4 Hohora, 13 Goldman, 9 High Sea, 10 Explosion, 8 Woodvale, 2 'Little Guy, 7 Master Huia, 5 Nella Dillon, 12 Rockburn. Won by two lengths, and half a length. Time, 2.51. Gaza led along the back from Dan Direct, Woodvale and Little Guy, and came into the straight ahead of Dan Direct, Woodvale and Harvest Boy. Dan Direct came through to win comfortably. Hohora broke, bringing down High Sea, Master Huia, and Nella Dillon. Explosion was fourth.

Hillsboro Handicap.—l Jock Bingen (F. J. Smith) 1,2 Paradigm (Paul) 2, 6 Etta Cole (Julian) 3. Also started: 4 Gold Sovereign, 3 Kolmar, 5 Peter McKinney. Won by a length, and three lengths. Time, 4.41. Jock Bingen was in front before tho stands were reached the first time, leading from Paradigm and Kolmar clear of Gold Sovereign, and Peter McKinney. Tho positions were unchanged the rest of tho way, except that Etta Cole came up to third place. Near the finish Jock Bingen staved off Paradigm’s challenge and won well. Kolmar was fourth. Campbell Handicap.—l Arabond (Corrigan) 1,2 Lady Yvonne (Mitchell) 2, 7 High Sea (Oliver) 3. Also started: 5 Concertina, 4 Hohora, 2,Dad’s Hope, 6 Honey. Won by four lengths, and two lengths. Time, 3.28 2-5. Arabond led all the way, and won easily. Lady Yvonne came up fast for second place. Hohora was fourth. Remuera Handicap.—6 Jackie Thorpe (Saunders) 1, 1 Kewpie’s Triumph (Gee) 2, 3 Harvest Boy (Carmichael) 3. Also started : 11 Lady Coronado, 10 Nazda, 9 Diver Thorpe, 8 Polly’s Picture, 7 Rolfe Audubon, 4 Gumdigger, and Bell Dial (bracketed), 5 Some Dillon, 2 Bingen Crest. Won by a neck and lengths. Time, 2.51 2-5. Kewpie’s Triumph was in front along the hack, followed by Jackie Thorpe, Rolfe Audubon, and Harvest Boy. Kewpie’s Triumph led into the straight with Jackie Thorpe and Harvest Boy close up. In a good finish Jackie Thorpe won by a neck. Some Dillon was fourth.

Consolation Handicap.—s Stanmoor (August) 1, 6 Nelson Tasker (Mitchell) 2, 3 Benefice (Morrison) 3. Also started: 11 Torpedo Iluon, 2 Enawah, 1 Great Ballin, and Tumatakura (bracketed), 4 Genuine, 8 Sunshowcr, 7 Hohora, 9 Mountain Dell, 10 Gold Jacket. Won by half a head, and a head. Time, 2.13 1-5. Benefico went out early, and held the lead into tho straight from Nelson Tasker, Great Ballin and Stanmoor. Benefice tired, and in an exciting finish Stanmoor came up to beat Nelson Tasker by half a head. Great Ballin was fourth.
