CAPSIZE OF YACHT
YOUTH BELIEVED DROWNED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Arthur Wellsted, 16,-io missing, and is believed'' to have been drowned as the result, 'of a 14ft. yacht capsizing in th liangitoto Channel at midday to-day. A companion, Cyril Webster, IS, was picked up by. a launch after being in the water, for about an hour. A sudden squall struck the boat, which capsized. The youths got into a dinghy and commenced to row tc Rangitoto, but the dinghy swamped. Webster struck out for the island and when last seen by him Wcllstcd was holding an oar. Launches searched the. locality, without finding Well sted, who is a son of Mr, A. W. Wellsted, commercial agent for the Railways Department. . 1 . ,
