WELLINGTON RACES CURIE WINS THE SHORTS WELLESLEY STAKES TO LACK (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. The Wellington spring meeting opened in tine bright weather and on a perfect track. Later, heavy showers of hail and rain fell, and wintry conditions softened the track, ' which became greasy. The attendance was only moderate.
