NOTES FROM MELBOURNE (Elec. Tol. Copyright—United Press Assn.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 23. White Nose has arrived, and is enengaged in the Cup. Rochobotham has been scratched for the Cantala Stakes. The New Zealand horses still in the Melbourne Cup are: Concentrate, Chide, Vali, and First Acre. Richfield is, still in the Cantala Stakes. Acceptances close on Tuesday. J. Muriro and J. Pike arrived today. A. Goddard ’s recent injury will prevent him from riding at Flemington. Lorigan is remaining in Melbourne, but Lavuigton and Gesture are running at Sydney. Cullum rides Banner Boy in the Moore Hurdles.
