FLOWN TO AUCKLAND
SICK MAN PROM WAIOTAHI (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. A schoolmaster at Waiotahi, ‘near Opiptiki, Mr. P. K. Grant, who was suffering from appendicitis, was flown from Opotiki to Auckland in 2-1- hours this morning, and three-quarters of an hour after reaching the aerodrome was in bed in hospital. His wife accompanied him on the flight in the three-scater Puss Moth plane.
