AIR TO AUSTRALIA
KEEN RACE EXPECTED START ON SATURDAY (Elpc. To). Copyright —United Press Assn.) (Received Oct. 23, 2 pan.) LONDON, Oct. 22. _ With the promise of a thrilling air race to Australia, Messrs. Leslie and Kenneth Hamilton leave at midnight on Saturday, and Mr. C. Butler two hours later, both aiming at long hops, of which the shortest will lie 1200 miles and tlifi longest 1752 iv|ile f s. Mr. C. Bidder, well known as an experienced pilot and designer, plans to reach Darwin in seven days. The Hamilton, brothers, in a dual-controlled Moth, will attempt to make a record, flight t;o Darwin. They will remain a clay and then 'return to London. They intend to do a considpmbje amount of night flying.
