GENERAL MOTORS SALES NEW YORK, Sept. 8. A decrease of over 15,000 motor cars sold in the month of August as compared -with the sales for the same month last year is shown by the figures published to-day by General Motors Corporation. Sales for last month, including overseas shipments, totalled 70,078 cars. Tho sales for July and August, 1930, were 87,449 and '85,610 lyDalgety and Co. have received the following advice from Loffdon, dated October 22: “London skins and hides Kale. —There was a good attend mice and selection at the sale, and competition was fairly good from home trade and tho Continent. American buyers wero not operating.
