THE ENGLISH DECISION CANTERBURY'S PROTEST (Por Press Association.) CimiSTCHURCH, last night. At the adjourned annual meeting of delegates to the Canterbury Rugby Union to-night, the instruction of the English Rugby Union that all dispensations granted to New Zealand be withdrawn, was considered,' and it was resolved that New Zealand protest against the instruction and make representation to the English union to have the dispensations restored. It was also decided to request the New Zealand Rugby Union to seek cooperation of the New South Wales union in the matter.
