REFUSE DOLE TICKETS JIAY, X.R.W., March 111. Storekeepers of Hay have refused to recognise orders for the dob? received by the police, with the result that since the end of February none has been issued. A storekeeper who was supplying rations during February offered to continue if the Government would guarantee payment within .'>(l days, but the guarantee was not forthcoming. The chairman of the local Labor League lias been in communication with the Parliamentary representative, but without success. Dole tickets vary from 7s -Id for single men to .‘Ms for families.
