AEROPLANE CRASHES

AN ITALIAN DISASTER EXPLOSION IN COCKPIT (Received Alarch 21, noon.) ROME, March 20. Aeroplane 564, in which Aladdaleha Ceccntii achieved a duration record, crashed near Leghorn after an explosion in the cockpit. the machine was found buried in the sand in eight fathoms of water near the shore. The petrol tank was recovered SCO yards off shore. The body of one occupant, Dainonte, was found, but two others are believed to be in the wreckage.
