IMPERIAL AIRWAYS
PROPOSED EXTENSION TO AUST. (British Official Wireless.) RUGHY, Jan. 20. The Uiuter-JSecretary lor Air, Mr. Frederick Montague, in the House of Commons stated that the proposals of Imperial Airways for the extension of the service between England and India to Australia, after examinations would be forwarded to the governments in Australia, India and the Straits Settlements lor consideration.
Sir Walter Nicholson, hitherto secretary of the Air Ministry becomes Government director of Imperial Airways. The appointment of Mr. C. L. Bullock, his successor at. the A't* Ministry, took effect from to-day.
