TRADE UNIONS IN JAPAN
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TOKIO, January 20. The Diet has resumed. Interest centres in a Government Hill legalising trade unions, which is strongly opposed by the capitalists, who allege it contains sinister claims. The Labor Government reiterates its determination to introduce the bill, contending that the right of unions is now universally acknowledged.
