Therefore, it is imperative that a diligent search be made for talent. A powerful batting side is buildable round Hammond, Sutcliffe, and Duleepsinhji. We need lest matches for the purpose of testing tho players in higher class games than county matches, and a selection committee which can spare tho time to follow cricket closely.
