EED 2000 MEN A DAY LONDON, Nov. 12. 1 The new; hotel which .is to be buill in Mayfair,. at the, corner of Bruton street and Berkeley Square, by the Canadian I'acifio will be one of the most luxurious in the world.
The original intention was that it should have. 1000 rooms. Cables; from Canada now fix the number between 6'JO and 700. Lifts will be so numerous and so large that guests will never le crowded against each other. Every possible device for securing silence will be used. The boating in .overy f room will be easilv adjustable to‘ suit the. American lover of high, steady temperature and the English lover of fresh air. It is expected that the cost of the hotel will work out at £IOOO a room.
