BRADMAN FINED
CONDUCT IN ENGLAND CRICKET BOARD’S DECISION MELBOURNE, Dee. 30. The Australian Board of Cricket Control unanimously decided that Bradman had broken his agreement with the board oil the English tour, and resolved to withhold from him the sum of £SO, his good conduct money. He thus receives' only £IOO, while the other members of the team receive £l5O. The board also censured him for violating the agreement. Bradman ’s offence consisted of publishing articles on cricket while on tour.
QUEENSLAND DISPUTE SELECTION OF TEAMS (Received Dec. 31, noon.) BRISBANE, Dec. 31. It 13 learned that if the Queensland Association attempts to discipline the team which returned from a southern tour for having appointed its own selectors the players will refuse to meet the West Indies team on January 10. The manager, Mr. Allen, and the captain, Gough, had nothing to say, and officials of the association refuse to discuss the trouble.
