TARIFF BARRIERS
NEW CHINESE SCHEDULE SHANGHAI, Dee. 30. A new tariff schedule, published today, greatly increases the duties on Australian imports. It covers canned fruits, jams, rabbit' skins, leather, wool and timber. British imports affected by the heavv duties are piecegoods and machinery.
