The South African Government has placed at the disposal of the Land Bank £1,150,000 to provide relief for the distressed farming community. The sum of £750,000 will be allocated to loans for farmers, while £250,000 will be placed at the disposal of the agricultural credit societies so that small loans may be S 'anted, and the remainder will go to e small stock societies.
