NO MASTER CRIMINALS
EDGAR WALLACE’S VIEWS THE CRIME OF WRITING (Received Dee. 30. 3 p.m.) BERLIN, Dee. 29. Edgar Wallace, who is visiting Germany, declared Hint there are. no master criminals nowadays. “If 1 were not a writer I could ho a most capable criminal, and could easily earn money at swindling. 1 might turn criminal for the sake of sensation if England only possessed an inspired detective.” He adds, however, that the writing crime is “more moral and more profitable.”
