SPECTACULAR BLAZE
ADELAIDE WAREHOUSE LARGE AMMUNITION STOCKS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Dec. 29, 2 p.m.) ADELAIDE, Dec. 29. A large section of the east end ol' the city was threatened yesterday night, when the ammunition warehouse' of Messrs. Flavell and Sons was burned to the ground. It was a most spectacular blaze. Thousands of pounds worth of goods were destroyed. Huge supplies of ammunition went off with a terrific bang. Adjoining buildings caught fire, but a good save was effected by the brigades. Exploding cartridges made holes in many buildings.
