POLAR FLAG
TO FLY ON DISCOVERY MELBOURNE, Oct, 28. When the Discovery leaves for the Antarctic on November 1 she will fly a purely white flag, the Polar flag, indicating the “country” to which she is bound. This time she will have a new master, Captain McKenzie, a new chief officer, Mr. M. Stanton, and many new hands on deck. Only two changes have been made among the scientists, Mr. Alec Kennedy replacing Instrucfor-Cdihinander H. M. Moyes as surveyor and Mr. Marias place as plantologist will not be Tilled.
