TWO-YEAR-OLD CRIMES (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, last night. James llonry Gartner, or James Gardner, appeared on. remand to answer a nearly two years old charge of theft. The'information alleged that on December 17. 1928, at Tokaanu. Lake Taupo, he committed the theft.'of £2 in cash and a cheque drawn bv Kapoor Bros.'on the Bank of New South Wales for £<i ISs (3d, the property of Herman George Bilderbcck. The accused also pleaded guilty to a charge that at Otaki on August 11 last lie, committed, the theft of 10s, the property of Agnes Bowlev. Gartner was convicted and .sentenced to six months’ imprisonment on the first charge, and three months on the second charge, the sentences to be concurrent.
