NEW ZEALAND APPLICANTS (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Six New Zealanders who are desirousof joining the Royal Air Force on short service commissions have been recommended by tlie Director of Air Services. They are: J. B. Burgess (Wellington); B. Teviotdale (Wanganui). J. L. Armstrong (Dannevirke), R. W. Hobbs (Christehurdi), •). Eddlesion (Helensville), and R. Colehrook. Those who intend going .t-o England to join the air force are, ad vised to communicate with the Director of Air Services, and undergo preliminary examination, thus lessening tho risk of being turned down when they reach England.
