TRAGEDY FEARED
TWO PLANES MISSING SIX MEN ABOARD (Elec. To!. Copyright—United Press Asbh.) (Received Nov. 5, 10 tun. VANCOUVER, Nov. -t. Two planes and six men lost i n northern British Columbia are the subject of an extensive search staged by a fleet of planes co-operating with six Government fisheries patrol vessels. Captain E. J. Burke, of Vancouver, flying two prospectors to Liard, a mining post, disappeared on October 12. Captain Pat Keniihan, of Vancouver, hopped off to search with two mechanics on October 28, and vanished after leaving Prince Rupert. The coast has been shrouded in fog for a fortnight. Government vessels tire systematically sweeping the whole coast.
Burke and his companions are feared to be dead,, as if they were alive they could have-reached civilisatioieasily in the time which has elapsed.
