(Herald Correspondent.) it is reporthd that Mr. Douglas Falconer, one of the original settlers'-on the Omaha soldier settlement at NuImkii, has disposed of his farm to Mr. James Small, who will be entering into possession in about two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Falconer will be much missed here when they take up their residence in the Patutalii district. As an active member of the Nirhakrt A. aJid J\ Hociety, Mr. Falconer has been a veritable tower of strength, ami has been of great assistance to the local school ami the hockey and football club't. Mr. Small is well known in this district, having been an employee of Mr. Robert MeliitVre for .the past four or five years, and is ati enthusiastic member of the Maliia Hunt Club.
