PARIS LAW SUIT SEQUEL PARIS, March 1. The Russian daily paper 1 lernieres Nouvoiles (published in Paris) reports that a bailin' has made a seizure of Soviet funds for reimbursement of what were known as the Litvinoff bills. Saveli Litvinotf, brother of the acting Commissary of Foreign Affairs, and others were recently tried on the charge of having drawn up these bills after the. former bad ceased to be Soviet commercial representative in Berlin, and were acquitfhe bills in question are held by M. Put/, Blonde], a business man who was formerly a bailiff of the Banque de France.' At his request seizures were made in several banks where the Commercial Representation of the Soviets has current accounts. The bailiff who was ordered to make the seizures had to recover over £248,000, representing the amount of the lulls with interest and costs of the recent action. The Russian newspaper adds that all the bangs visited by the bailin' have stopped all payments for (lie account of the Soviets.
