BYRD AT ROTORUA
NO LUCK WITH FISHING (Per Press Association.) ROTORUA, this day. Admiral Byrd returned to Rotorua from Wairakei yesterday afternoon, having greatly enjoyed bis visit. The party 'had no luck fishing at Taupo. Two trout wore hooked, but not landed. The journey included it tour of the valley, the Groat Blowhole, and other district sights. On his return, the Admiral took treatment at the baths and left by train for Wellington at 5 o’clock. Before leaving lie expressed himself as deeply grateful to the Government and officials for So much kindness and consideration.
