HANCOCK BEATS TROWERN (Per Pr«RS Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. A professional contest of 15 rounds between Wally Hancock (Australia) lOst. 31,1 b., and Reg Trowcrn (New Zealand) ICst. lAlb., attracted about 2000 “fans” to the Town Hall to-night. The bout went the full distance, Hancock getting the verdict. Trowern appeared to have a comfortable margin of points, and the decision met with a hostile reception from a big majority of the spectators.
