An address book, lost in Milan in Milan in 1924, has just reached its Christchurch owner, Aliss Alary Duncan, of Hills road, Hillsborough. It was the most highly prized article in a handbag which Miss Duncan lost in the train while travelling! from Alilan to Venice. The letter accompanying the book boro a slip from His Majesty’s ConsulGeneral at Alilan, dated February 14, 1930. stating that the book was lying with other papers to be destroyed. As it contained Aliss Duncan’s address, it was forwarded to her.
