In the Supreme Court to-day, John Albeit Simes, 19. was sentenced to three, years’ Borstal detention on charges! ot theft as a bank 'clerk al Alexandra. Over £6OO was involved. A statement showed that the accused was given a small motor car bv his people, hut subsequently bought a big car at 9430. .Mr. Justice Kennedy remarked that evidently a. streak of vanity had something to do with the accused's predicament.
