Regarding the .Brown Shield, it was agreed that an extra 39 minutes |»e played in drawn games, the same rule to apply to the Peter Dawson Cup. JtWas decided -to recommend the New Zealand council to investigate the playing of English Trophy matches, and if possible to arrange with the major associations that home and away games be played by each major association. A long debate took place on soccer in schools, and a report, of *t subcommittee was adopted. This pointed out that action lay with the associations and clubs. It was urged that, meetings be held with bead masters, and dismissing the position with them, and also the distribution of balls to schools and getting players to coach boys.

A remit to permit the replacement of injured players was ruled out of order.
