OBITUARY
EX-CHAMPION SCULLER (Received April 1.4. 2 p.m.) LONDON, April 13. The death has occurred of Mr. JV. A. Barry. ex-English champion sculler, and father of Bert Barry. The deatli occurred at his residence, at Takapmia, Auckland, on Saturday, of Mr. J. M. King, widely known throughout New Zealand as a former Commissioner of Taxes. Until recent years, Mr. Kings was a resident of Wellington, where he spent most of his life as a Oovernmcut official. In his youugcr days he was a footballer of more than averago ability, and a provincial player.
