LATE EARL OF COVENTRY
PROVISION OF WILL "PROTECTION OF WIDOW" [Received April 14, 2 p.m.) LONDON, April 13. A codicil tu Ihe will of the late Karl of Coventry provided that in the event of his wile's remarriage she should cease to have the use of the Balfour Place house and Hie contents thereof. A codicil, which was dated 1928. when the countess was 05 years of age,-added : "1 think it' most improbable that such an event will arise, bid have added a provision for her protection, and in her interests.'" The earl's estate is valued at. £228.000. Requests to his wife included £SOO and various articles of personal property. The Earl of Coventry and his wife died recently within two days of each other, he being 92 years of age. and she, 87.
