NEW WAR HORROR
ROBOT AEROPLANE DESTRUCTION OF CITIES (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Asan.) (Received April 14, 10 a.m.) LONDON, April 12. The Daily Mail states: "Developing out (if robot Hying devices, there is secretly evolving a new war horror, consisting of a giant aeroplane functioning without a, crew. The engine and course are controlled by a clockwork brain. The hull is a mere receptacle for bombs. The machine will resemble an enormous Hying torpedo. The mechanical brain is located in an armored container in tho centre of the bull, in which gyroscopes establish electrical contacts immediately the machine inclines to deviate from its course. A clockwork set beforehand stops the engine after a predetermined distance, and causes the bomb-laden plane to crash down in the city marked out for destruction."
