KAHUTIA CLUB The sixth round of the competition for the Hennessy memorial vase was played on the Kahiitia club's green on Saturday afternoon. Immediately after the start rain fell, and there was a rush for shelter. Despite the cold, two of the games were played, namely, between Vincent and Campbell, and Jenkins and Simpson; in the lirstmentioned, Campbell won a keenly-contested game, an extra head having to be played. Jenkins, by beating Simpson, and with only one more game to play, is now leading, and looks the probable winner of the competition. There was a large attendance at the Poverty Bay green, and sonte interesting games were played. Te Karaka club was represented by two teams, the visitors proving superior in both matches.
